Royal icing is good for making edible name tags. For it you can make icing with eggs and harden completely when it is dry. With 2eggs whites, room temperature, 2tps lemon juice and 3cups confectioner's sugar. Beat the egg whites and lemon juice until frothy and foamy then add sugar on a low speed and consistency you need.
